Conclusion of my thermometer project. On a saturday morning i set off to put my thermometers out in the sun to start my project. What happened was i had left them out the sun for 5 minutes and waited for them to warm up. I put them out on about 25c and they warmed up pretty quickly to about 30c. Then I put a jar over thermometer 1 and waited 10 minutes I had found something to do every 10 minutes becuase I knew I couldn’t sit there for that long waiting. After the first 10 minutes had past i checked them they went to abou 40c pretty quickly so I wrote it down. After about 40 minutes they warmed up to 50c and one to 40c. I finished they ended about 51c and 40c I thought that one was going to crack but it managed to survive. And that is what happened while I was doing my thermometer project.

My two explorers that I have chosen are Robert Falcon Scott and Roald Amundsen. first I will be talking about Robert Falcon Scott.
Robert Falcon Scott was born at the 6th of June 1868 and died at 29 March 1913 (aged 44). He was British. During 1910 to 1913 Robert Falcon Scott set out on his second venture. He led a party of five who wanted to be the first people to make it to the south pole and had arrived at the south pole on 17th of January 1912. When they had arrived they found out that Roald Amundsen’s Norwegien party had beat them there When they started thier return journy Robert falcon Scott and his party hed died on thier way heading back home because of the combination of exhuastion, hungar and extreme cold.
Now Roald Amundsen
Roald Amundsen was born at the 16th of july 1872 and died at the 18th of june 1928 (aged 55). He was Norwegian. Roald Amundsen was the first to reach the south pole and also was the first to reach the north pole. He had a dissapaerence in june 1928 During a rescue mission.
